ToneDeaf is an innovative 1-on-1 training tool leveraging ElevenLabs Adaptive Emotional Voice technology to simulate difficult workplace interactions, specifically focusing on power harassment dynamics. Instead of a simple quiz, users engage with an AI employee whose vocal tone dynamically shifts to reflect underlying stress or resignation—saying “I’m fine” while their voice becomes cold, shaky, or robotic based on the user’s management style. This project, developed by Koki Sonoda and designed by Kaori Rei, aims to provide a realistic, emotionally resonant simulation for practicing empathetic and effective management techniques. The project utilizes Bolt for hosting and draws on expertise from affiliated products like Google.
