Declan Clowry is the CTO at Foundry Labs (Tokyo, Japan) where he is a Co-Founder.
He has spent over 12 years building and deploying AI and ML solutions for some of the most important organisations in the world ranging from multinational enterprises to national governments, taking on many roles but always staying hands on and coding.
He has worked for the UK Government, Palantir, and Japan's Fast Retailing among others.
Declan has over 12 years of experience and is located in Tokyo, Japan. He studied at the University of Oxford, earning an M.Sc in Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology and a B.A. in Human Sciences (Genetics), after attending Ilford County High School. He is currently employed, seeking contract work, hiring full time, hiring contractors, and seeking investors.
I am very interested to find hires or contractors to help us deliver AI development projects across our wide range of Japanese and international clients, as well as to connect with enterprises or startups who want help building products, developing models, testing, getting training for staff, or receiving strategic consulting.
Interactive AI backed English learning, Voice Agents, Agentic solutions for banking, a hiring platform, and finally some uses of computer vision for industrial and safety related robotics.

Christine is the founder of Social AI, a social impact startup backed by Shibuya Startups and selected for JETRO's J-StarX AI Go-To-Market Accelerator.
A former Silicon Valley Product Manager with 10+ yrs’ experience developing EdTech apps, she graduated from Google Launchpad Accelerator Tokyo’s 2018 cohort for AI/ML startups. Prior to becoming a founder, she was Lead Product Manager for an EdTech startup with 30 million global users where she conceptualized, developed, and launched Japan’s first Gen AI-powered English chatbot approved by the Ministry of Education for public schools. In 2023, she traveled to rural Vietnam for an EdTech pilot funded by the Asian Development Bank, which inspired her to make fun and quality English learning accessible to children all over the world.
